The Police Special Task Force  (STF) Sri Lanka arrested three persons with 100 kilograms of heroin in the Matara - Weligama area during a multi-day investigation.

Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that a car used by the suspects was also taken into custody.

It is reported that the arrested persons are aged 38, 33 and 34 .
